Our outdoor environments inspire exploration, creativity and active learning, giving children the freedom to discover, play and grow every day.
At scallywags we have several lovely outdoor areas designed for different age groups.
Our baby room and wobbler Room both have astro-turf gardens, allowing for a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor play.
At the back, there are two spacious: one with astro-turf and another with a natural lawn. These gardens can be used separately or combined providing plenty of chances for children to develop their gross motor skills and enjoy engaging in outdoor learning experiences. Additionally, we have a front garden where we work with small groups of children to enhance their learning. This area features raised planters for the children to grow their own plants, along with a memorial bench dedicated to our director’s father, adding a thoughtful touch to our outdoor spaces.
